Dad's Shoe

A Teacher asked Akpos in class...
"If you have only one shoe, and that's the only shoe you have to wear, your Dad has seven shoes, he decides to give you two of his shoes to wear. How many shoes will you now have to wear?"
Akpos hissed, "One shoe."
Teacher said, "One?! how?"
Akpos replied "The other ones will be over-sized shoes."
